Thanksgiving Dining in Reno Tahoe

Instead of feeling overwhelmed with the thought of making an elaborate meal, bring your friends and family to one of the many delicious Thanksgiving dining options! After all, if there is one thing you should be thankful for, it’s the fact that Reno Tahoe has a variety of dining locations open on Thanksgiving Day to meet your Turkey Day meal expectations.

In addition to their regular menu, Charlie Palmer Steak will offer an unforgettable four-course Thanksgiving meal from 2:00 to 9:30 p.m. Start your meal with a taste of beet and goat cheese bruschetta sprinkled with arugola and herb oil, followed by the first course of either roasted butternut squash soup or a smoked salmon mousse, accompanied by grilled sour dough or herb and radish salad. The main course will consist of a traditional roast grain fed turkey served with cornbread and sausage stuffing, glazed baby carrots and green beans with sweet potato puree. The hardest part about the feast is choosing between their spiced pumpkin pie or apple crisp with cinnamon ice cream for dessert to top off your meal. Reservations are recommended.

Circus Circus Reno

Take pleasure in the abundance of Thanksgiving entrées the Circus Circus Reno will offer. The Americana Café will have salads with seasonal dressings, your choice of roasted tom turkey with giblet gravy or honey glazed ham and pineapple sauce, which you can pair with some of their unconventional items such as whipped potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes with marshmallows and more. Dessert includes everyone’s Thanksgiving favorites – pumpkin or apple pie. Recommended on TripAdvisor, The Steakhouse at Circus Circus is also going to get festive. Start the amazing meal with a seasonal field green salad or butternut squash bisque. Entrées include roast turkey, muscovy duck, sea bass saltimbocca style or beef tenderloin, all served with traditional holiday sides. Don’t forget to leave room for a tasty treat! Dessert includes homemade pumpkin cheesecake or warm pecan pie with eggnog ice cream.

Eldorado Resort Casino

Enjoy a no-hassle holiday dinner at one of the 3 restaurants serving on Thanksgiving day inside of the Eldorado. Expand your dining delights at Roxy with a three-course meal including three unforgettable dessert choices – spiced apple cobbler, pumpkin meringue pie or pecan cheesecake. Head over to La Strada to enjoy a Thanksgiving menu with a taste of Italy. To start, choose from their argula and treviso radicchio salad or cream of potato and roasted chestnut soup. La Strada turkey will be presented in two ways: rolled turkey leg “in porchetta”- stuffed and served with smashed sweet potatoes or breast of turkey or “scaloppine” -served with porcini mushrooms and topped off with chardonnay cream sauce and fresh herbs. For a more casual setting, The Prime Rib Grill will start by opening everyone’s favorites soup and salad bar, stocked with fresh fruits, nuts and more. The main course will consist of honey-glazed roast turkey, glazed yams, orange cranberry sauce, butter whipped potatoes and brandied turkey gravy. Complete the meal with pumpkin, apple or pecan pie. All restaurants will start serving their Thanksgiving day meal at 3:00 p.m.
