The grass is always green, the skies are clear, the sunsets are breathtaking, and the warm nights bring it all together. It is time to get outside and indulge in water activities, sports, and much more. Don’t miss out on what this beautiful place and season has to offer.

Wild Island Family Adventure Park 

Wild Island is one of the best places to go for family fun. During the summer, Wild Island is highly known for its water park. It has daredevil slides, a lazy river, wave pool, kiddie pools for the little ones, and an “adult lagoon” for those 21+. If you want to cool down on a hot summer day and enjoy delicious food and drinks then this is the place for you. Beach Time 

If you are looking to relax on the beach all day long, then North Lake Tahoe is the perfect place for you. North Lake Tahoe is widely known for its family friendly beaches, soft sand, clear blue waters, and stunning views. There are multiple beaches to visit and all are guaranteed to give you the most relaxing day possible.

Golfing 

Tis the season for tee times. Reno Tahoe has 50+ golf courses  within 90 minutes of Reno. What makes golfing in Reno Tahoe so special? With an altitude like ours, golf balls automatically fly 10 percent further. Not to mention we are home to courses that overlook gorgeous Lake Tahoe and courses where PGA tournaments have been held. Whether you are looking to play 9 holes, 18, or watch the professionals play, you are guaranteed to enjoy the best golf game of your life.

Play Ball

Another sport that is great to enjoy over the summer is baseball! The Reno Aces are a Triple- A, minor league baseball team that is affiliated with major league team, The Arizona Diamondbacks. When playing at home they are located at Greater Nevada Field on Evans Ave. in Reno. There are all kinds of promotions for every home game such as two for two Tuesdays, $2 beer night, kids eat for free, local discounts, and much more.

Hike or Bike 

Reno Tahoe is home to beautiful hiking and biking trails. If you enjoy being up in the mountains and surrounded by trees, there are trails for both activities that not only provide you with the scent of our fresh pines but also grant you the most beautiful scenic views. There are multiple trails available that satisfy all skill and adventure levels. If biking up in the mountains does not thrill you then don’t worry, we have gorgeous bike lane routes in Reno that still provide amazing views of the area.

Lazy 5 Regional Park 

Lazy 5 Regional Park gives you the chance to enjoy a bunch of summer activities all at once. This park has athletic fields, areas to barbecue, horseshoe pits, picnic areas, volleyball courts, soccer fields, and a water play park! This is the perfect place to get your family and friends together because it has a little something for everyone.

Squaw Valley Adventure Center 

Summertime means no snow on the mountains. However, all of the resorts in North Lake Tahoe still go out of their way to provide fun activities. Squaw Valley Adventure Center offers activities such as rope courses, sky-jump bungee trampoline, climbing wall, and a mini golf course.
