Spring Break in Reno Tahoe – For Adults
Spring break is right around the corner, and Reno Tahoe is the perfect place to get away for the week. You’ve been working hard, and now it’s time to play hard, so here are some unique spring break ideas for adults to enjoy in Reno Tahoe.
Easter Keg Hunt
Who says Easter Egg hunting is only for kids? Get your baskets ready for the Easter Keg Hunt made for adults at Circus Circus Reno. On March 24, prizes will be hidden throughout Circus Circus, including hundreds of dollars in food and beverage credits, 100.9 Bandit gear, concert tickets and more! One lucky grand prize winner will take home a kegerator courtesy of CZYZ’s Appliance and a keg of your choice while another big winner will win a night stay in a VIP suite at Circus Circus and a $100 dining credit. So how do you get a spot in the hunt? Tune your radio station to 100.9 The Bandit weekdays between 7 am and 6 pm for your shot to win a spot to hunt for the Great Easter Keg. You can also enter by texting the word “KEG16” to 68683; you’ll be notified via text on March 22nd if you’ve won a spot. There will also be five last-minute drawings the night of the hunt in Circus Circus at Dos Geckos Cantina. So if you didn’t get a spot beforehand, make sure you show up for your last-minute chance to get in! For more information, visit our events page.
Visit a Brewery
Reno Tahoe has become a West Coast hub for hops, where enthusiasts can rejoice in the art and passion of craft beer. Soak up the culture and authentic charm of our region at one of our breweries and taverns this Spring Break. Here, we’ve embraced the small-batch movement, and from stylish alehouses to casual pubs to hometown distilleries, there’s no better place to belly up to the bar and experience the crafted life as only Reno Tahoe USA can offer. If you’re visiting Reno on the fourth Saturday of any given month, you will inevitably, and luckily, enter the wacky world of the Reno Beer Crawl. March 26 is this month’s Beer Crawl, which makes this the perfect event to end your Spring break. For $5, you get a wrist band, map & glass to use for $1 refills of 6 ounce samples at multiple downtown Reno locations. It’s an easy walk (or crawl) to each beer crawl location as they are all in the heart of downtown. Have a taste of brews and Reno’s unique culture this Spring break. Go to a Nightclub
If you’re looking to party this spring break, Reno’s nightlife will not disappoint. Have some drinks and dance the night away at one of Reno’s electrifying nightclubs. Check out the newly redesigned Edge Nightclub inside the Peppermill Resort Hotel, or the 25,000 square foot club inside the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, Lex Nightclub. DJ Risk One will be playing at Edge on Saturday March 19, and DJ E20 will be playing at Lex on Friday March 18.
