New Year’s Eve Dining Specials
End of the year celebrations would not be complete without an exquisite meal filled with savory foods. Choose one of the many casual and fine dining experiences Reno Tahoe has to offer, fill up before the parties start and toast to the new year!
Toucan Charlie’s Buffet & Grille will be featuring bacon-wrapped filet, lobster ravioli, grilled rib-eye and mouth-watering seafood dishes. Dinner open from 4:30-9 p.m. Atlantis Steakhouse is serving a four course dinner starting at 5 p.m. Enjoy vodka cured sturgeon, alaskan king crab chowder or salad, classic Osso Buco Milanese or petit filet mignon and lump crab stuffed lobster, and hot chocolate tiramisu. Bistro Napa will also have a four course dinner with butter poached Maine lobster risotto, wild mushroom consomme or frisee and soft poached egg salad, beef wellington or barramundi fillet en papillote, and hot chocolate tiramisu. Beginning at 11 a.m., Purple Parrot and Manhattan Deli will be offering rib eye steak and two lobster tails with hearty sides in addition to their regular menus. Cafe Alfresco will be serving New York steak and scampi style prawns with soup or salad, and sides.
The Steakhouse at Circus is offering a New Year’s Eve menu starting at 5 p.m. Choose a starter: Steakhouse salad with Alaskan king crab or lobster bisque. Then, in honor of New Year’s Eve, enjoy surf and turf, Black Angus filet mignon and oven-roasted lobster tail with delicious sides and dessert. Make your meal in the Courtyard Buffet starting at 11 a.m. (children 4 and under are free). The carving station will have leg of lamb, fig and orange jam-glazed ham, and cherry wood smoked beef brisket. For something different, try unconventional options like pizza, tacos and Asian food. The Americana Café will be serving entrees including smoked pork shanks or seafood Americana with shrimp, clams and crab. Choose a soup or salad, and pumpkin pie, apple pie or pecan pie for dessert.
The Prime Rib Grill is offering a prix fixe meal with soup and salad, filet mignon, and half lobster tail scampi style for the entrée, and a decadent triple chocolate mousse for dessert. Fill up with delicious food at La Strada with a four course meal. Start with Belgian red & white endive salad before moving on to the tagliarini pasta and risotto “Cacio & Pepe.” Next, enjoy the pan seared ahi and Barolo wine braised beef short ribs. Hopefully you’ll still have room for the tiramisu! Enjoy first-class dining at Roxy. Start with sunchoke chips and caviar, move on to the veal tenderloin with truffle butter and finish the meal with their opera cake. Try the dishes with wine pairings for an extra treat.
Visit the uniquely modern Heritage Restaurant inside the Whitney Peak Hotel for a special Christmas menu. Their prix fixe meal starts off with canadian oyster, caviar and micro wasabi. Next is lobster ravioli with green pea broth and then butternut squash soup. Black cod with dragon tail green beans and miso lemon grass broth is served before an aged New York strip steak with a variety of side flavors. Dessert comes in the form of strawberry glee and lemon crisp.
Enjoy a lovely three course meal in Incline Village this New Year’s Eve. The Lone Eagle Grille will start your meal off with Hamachi sashimi accompanied by sea beans, chilled rice porridge and smoked trout roe. The second course is a roasted lamb loin with Jerusalem artichoke puree, roasted ruby beets and almond vinaigrette. End the meal with their warm chocolate cannoli topped with espresso crème Chantilly and shaved white chocolate.
On New Year’s Eve, visit the Steakhouse for slow roasted rock salt crusted CAB prime rib with a choice of soup or salad from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. The Rotisserie Buffet will be serving up an international buffet featuring carved prime rib from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. They will also be open on New Year’s Day with a champagne brunch from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Bimini Steakhouse is serving up a three course meal from 4 – 10 p.m. Start with lump crab cake or baby greens with mandarin orange. Your entrée choices are beef tenderloin bordelaise or pan roasted Chilean sea bass and chocolate champagne mousse cake will finish off the meal. Café Milano offers lobster bisque or wedge salad for your starter plate, grilled New York sirloin and scampi-style shrimp for the entrée and a dreamy New York cheesecake. This menu is served from 5 p.m. – midnight. If you’re looking for a huge variety of amazing food, try the Island Buffet from 4:30-9:30 p.m. Choose from maple glazed salmon, mushroom ravioli, leg of lamb and wood-grilled rib eye steaks, just to name a few. Oceano has a feast of smoked duck breast salad, seared Chilean sea bass or oak grilled rib eye steak, and chocolate covered strawberry mousse cake from 4-9:30 p.m.
