Good Karma

While Reno Bites Week encourages residents and visitors alike to eat to their heart’s content, they also have a heart for local nonprofits. One way to get involved is to vote for one of three food-focused local charities to see who will receive a $4,000 check from Sysco. You can do so at one of the many participating restaurants. There are also three events taking place to help raise funds for good causes: Yelp’s Far East Street Eats benefits the Nevada Museum of Art, the Food Truck Iron Chef competition benefits The Solace Tree and proceeds from Art, Food & Roots go to Urban Roots. Be a part of this amazing opportunity!
