Catch the Game : Watching Football in Reno Tahoe
When leaves start to think about changing colors and Mother Nature starts sending us little surprises, you know it’s Football Season. Check out one of the many local sports bars where football and good food can be enjoyed together. Isn’t that what the season is all about? Here are just four of the many spots to catch the game in Reno Tahoe.
Lucky Beaver Bar & Burger | Reno
Come for the many TVs showing the game, stay for the burgers. Lucky Beaver‘s burger features a patty created by Pat LaFrieda, famous from his family’s meat purveyor business and the Food Network show “Meat Men.” If you’re looking to enjoy the game while enjoying an upscale environment and quality bites, this spot across from the Atlantis on South Virginia is the place.

Woody’s Grille & Spirits | Sparks
Woody’s Grille & Spirits is a locally-owned family business that prides itself on creating delicious memories. There’s no way you’ll miss any of the game at Woody’s with over 30 HDTVs, including one in every booth. Their menu offers a wide variety of dishes from pub favorites like nachos and burgers, to unique items you wouldn’t expect in a sports bar such as Asian steak salad and Yellowfin ahi Ceviche.

The Stick Sports Lounge | Reno
Located in the heart of downtown Reno, The Stick is Reno’s first non-smoking, non-gaming sports lounge. With two levels and nonstop sports entertainment on 24 TVs, every seat is the best seat in the house. One of their many local craft beers on draft will pair nicely with their beef sliders and/or guacamole bombs.
