Brunching Around Reno Tahoe on Easter Sunday
What a better way celebrate Easter with loved ones than a satisfying brunch? Reno Tahoe offers a variety of brunch spots for any given day but on Easter, we are cooking up something extra special for family and friends… and the best part is not having to clean up afterwards! Check out the following restaurants in the area to add a little bit of gourmet to your celebration.
From champagne-style brunch to gourmet items, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa will be serving items such as Oscar-Style Eggs Benedict at the Purple Parrot and fresh maple-baked salmon at Toucan Charlie’s Buffet, along with traditional brunch favorites at its participating restaurants.
- Grand Ballroom Gourmet Brunch from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Toucan Charlies Buffet & Grille Champagne Brunch from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Purple Parrot Easter Brunch from 7:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Lone Eagle Grille on Tahoe’s North Shore has a fantastic outdoor seating area overlooking the lake. Not only can you sit in the comfy outdoor patio, but you can enjoy Easter brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Click here to make a reservation.
The Buffet will offer an array of items, including candied apple French toast with pecan maple syrup, scrambled eggs and other dishes such as roast turkey breasts, herb-roasted leg of lamb with vegetables, sweet treats and much more will be on the menu. Brunch will be served from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Millies24 will be offering omelets, breakfast wraps and more. Not only do they also have the essential breakfast drinks, ask about their multi-course menu starting at 11:00 a.m.
Flavors! the Buffet will serve breakfast and brunch items of all sorts, including made-to-order omelets, crème brulée French toast on the breakfast table and braised short ribs, pan-seared salmon with dill beurre blanc, steamed mussels, and authentic Mexican specialties on the brunch table. The buffet will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Pearl Oyster Bar and Grill and Café Central will both offer a three-course meal starting as early as 11:00 a.m. and includes your choice of soup or salad, mint pesto-rubbed leg of lamb with cucumber mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables for the entrèe, and to delight your sweet tooth, try the rhubarb pie with strawberry ice cream for dessert.
The chefs at the Island Buffet will be preparing eggs and omelets and other breakfast items until 2:00 p.m. on Easter Sunday. There will be a salad bar, carving station, an assortment of desserts, as well as many more breakfast and brunch items.
The Grand Buffet will be serving brunch as early as 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The menu will include fresh scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage fritata, buttermilk fried chicken, and applewood smoked bacon/turkey bacon. They also have a collection of sweet Easter treats to satisfy any craving.
For a multi-course meal, the Grand Café is serving special Easter Sunday dishes all day long from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. which includes salad, appetizer, entrée and dessert.
From their traditional breakfast favorites to specialty items, the Rotisserie Buffet at the Nugget will feature a champagne brunch from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m on Easter Sunday.
Also joining the brunch club is Rosie’s Breakfast, with items fresh off the griddle like huevos rancheros, scrambled eggs, omelets and much more.
