Animal Ark – Take A Walk on the Wild Side in Reno

On Saturday, March 18 Animal Ark will open to the public and invites everyone to come meet their furry friends! Watch these beautiful wild animals as they frolic and play after a very snowy winter. The sanctuary holds 18 special events throughout the year, including free educational lectures by wildlife professionals, interactions with animals, keeper talks and a whole bunch of cuteness.

This wildlife sanctuary is dedicated to provide a safe haven for injured, abandoned and otherwise non-releasable wildlife. It’s about a 25 minute drive north of Reno, and will be open through November.
