6 Ways to Celebrate July 4th in Reno Tahoe
When it comes to celebrating the 4th of July in Reno Tahoe, your choices are almost endless! Elaborate fireworks, food, sports, parades and highlighting the local arts and culture for the month of July all add to the spirit. Although this year’s Independence Day falls on a weekday, there are all-American activities happening the entire weekend to help you celebrate the nation’s birth in style. Here are a few ways you can make the most out of Independence Day.
Catch a Game
What’s more American than hearing the crack of bat and watching some home runs, while sampling ballpark hot dogs and sipping on cold beer? On July 4 head to The Greater Nevada Field and watch the Reno Aces take on the Tacoma Rainiers. Make sure to take advantage of their gourmet hot dog menu and stay for the fireworks display at the end of the game.
Eat Some Wings
20,000 pounds of chicken wings is one way to kick-start your Independence Day weekend and get you ready to party like it’s 1776! On July 1 and 2, The Biggest Little Wing-Fest will be in downtown Reno with live entertainment, local craft beer, vendors and cash prizes for the best wings.
Celebrate with Artown
