The Incline Recreation Center hosts a Trail of Treats and Terror on Oct. 27 – perfect for all ages, with games, treats, dancing, even an opportunity to capture a whacky family portrait. Take the kids on an unforgettable trick-or-treat through the streets of Tahoe City on Halloween night. This event starts off at Heritage Plaza. Look for participating businesses (designated by balloons) giving out candy and more.

Tahoe City becomes a makeshift graveyard full of friendly, spooky, even historical ghosts on Halloween weekend. LED video walls set the stage as visitors mingle with the living dead. The weekend is broken down into a 21+ Zombie Pub Crawl on Oct. 28, Ghosts of Tahoe Past Oct. 29 and a Kid-Friendly Ghost Day Oct. 30.

Mingle with the 21+ Crowd at The Creepers Ball
The annual Creepers Ball is a North Tahoe favorite among visitors and locals. Hosted at the Crystal Bay Club Casino, this year’s event features 80’s tribute rockers, Tainted Love, followed by an afterparty with DJ Elzo and DJ Ectoe. Moonwalk, cabbage patch, and electric slide to their online box office – tickets are on sale now.

Grab a Drink and Boogie
Fortress Halloween Metal Bash returns to Tahoe Art Haus and Cinema Oct. 28 to shake up the night. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best heavy metal costumes and show off their best head banging moves.

Do the Time Warp Again!
Yes, it’s time for fans of the beloved pop culture iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show to dust off your top hats and dancing shoes. Join the Tahoe Art Haus and Cinema on Oct. 31 for a raucous night watching the story of Brad, Janet and Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Newbies are always welcome to join this 17+ audience.
